Makenna Daycare Gang

Most of you know that Makenna loves going to Miss Lisa's house and loves all of her friends there. Often times, the first thing she says when she wakes in the morning is all of her friends names. We wanted to capture a picture of the whole "gang" since Makenna will be moving back to Michigan in just a few short weeks. We know she will really miss her friends.

First dip of the year

Makenna and her buddy Ashton had a great first dip in the pool yesterday. Makenna loves floating around and Ashton is learning to swim on his own.

Vandaveer Park

Mom and Makenna went to Vandeveer Park today which is a large park in the middle of Davenport. Makenna had a blast feeding bread to the ducks in the pond. We played on the playground for a bit, followed by a picnic and ended with playing in the many flower gardens. We did have a lesson on smelling the flowers and not picking the flowers.

A few more from the zoo

Here are a few more pictures from the zoo. Take a close look at the turtle picture. The whole family had a good laugh,

Day at the Zoo

A few weeks ago Makenna got to go the Niabi Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Scott, Aunt Jenna and Matthew. She loved all the animals, and the picture of her laughing is from while she was watching the new baby giraffe

Day at the Beauty Parlor

We figured it was time for Makenna to get a haircut. She has gotten her bangs cut, but this was the first time to get the rest of it trimmed. She sat very still for Miss Emily and because she was such a good girl even got a sucker.

Makenna's new friends.

Makenna got to meet two new friends tonight. Our good friends Liz and Arien both had babies within the last month and today Makenna got to meet Ellie and Finley. As you can see she was in love with them both and enjoyed holding them and making sure they had their pacifiers.

Puddle Jumper

Makenna had a blast puddle jumping yesterday after our rainshowers yesterday.

Blueberry Face

Makenna loves her blueberries. If only we could teach her to keep the majority of them in her mouth and not on her face.
